The Ad Hoc Committee of AMR Corporation Creditors now is comprised of holders or managers of nearly $2 billion in AMR notes, bonds, debentures, claims and other debt.
That’s up from $885 million when the group first announced its presence.
Those numbers mostly include instruments on which the creditors are long, although a few involve short positions. On the chart below, we’ve noted those. Also, the disclosure filed Thursday includes several claims involving AMR shares and some other investments for which the filing has placed no estimated value.
